Spirit Beast creates personalized digital artworks of guardian creatures drawn from the Shan Hai Jing (Classic of Mountains and Seas), an ancient Chinese classic in the public domain. Each commission produces: one (1) web-edition image (1024 px PNG), one (1) print-edition image (2048 px PNG), and a certified provenance card, delivered by email within 24 hours of confirmed payment.
Nature of the product. This is a digital art product — an original, symbolic interpretation of a public-domain myth, personalized as a creative keepsake. It is not a religious, medical, divinatory, or fortune-telling service, and we make no claim that any artwork brings luck, wealth, health, or any real-world outcome. "Guardian" is used in its cultural and artistic sense.
The same birth date and intent always yield the same guardian beast — this is a feature of the matching system, not a defect. Your edition number is permanently bound to your order and is reused on any future re-order.
Artworks are created with AI assistance under human artistic direction, based on original interpretations of a public-domain classic. Each piece is unique to the commissioner; no two editions share the same subject and number.
You may print, frame, and share your artwork for personal use. Commercial resale, NFT minting, or claiming the underlying classic's imagery as your own trademark requires separate written permission.
Tax handling depends on where we are registered to sell. At launch we operate as a small cross-border seller using PayPal; we do not automatically calculate or collect VAT/GST or sales tax at checkout. Where a jurisdiction requires the seller to account for tax (for example EU/UK VAT on digital services), the buyer is responsible for any such tax that may apply to their location.
